I have had a lifelong love of all animals and always knew that I wanted to work with them. In 2010, I began training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, completing the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2012. Shortly after qualifying I wanted to increase my skill and knowledge base further with an advanced nursing qualification, so enrolled with The Royal Veterinary College to undertake their Post Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing, which I passed with Merit in October 2016.

In May 2018 I enrolled with the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) to undertake their Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour and passed this with Distinction in September 2020

I have been a cat owner all my life and recognise their truly unique and fantastic nature. I rescued my cat, Elsie, at 3 weeks old and committed to hand-rearing her. Seeing her grow up has been amazing! On the other end of the spectrum is my 18 year old boy, Louie, who I have had since he was 8 weeks old and Molly, a stray we took in for a night and who never left! I’m beyond excited to work in a place that recognises cats have their own individual needs, both on a medical and emotional level, and is purpose built for them.
