The London Cat Clinic has remained open and continued to offer specialised feline care to all our clients throughout the pandemic. We have been one of the very few veterinary clinics to allow owners to stay with their cats – supported by air filtration, personal protective equipment, and adjustments of how we book appointments.

As veterinarians we take our role in public health seriously and as is the case with our feline friends, vaccinations never offer perfect protection to all individuals and a number of our clients and team members remain vulnerable or  are not yet fully vaccinated and as such the following precautions that you are already used to will remain in place from July 19th 2021 but will be reviewed on an ongoing basis:

  • If you are experiencing signs of COVID-19, tested positive within the past 10 days, are awaiting test results or have been told to self-isolate, please let us know via phone so we can advise on how best to assist you. Do not come into the clinic.
  • When arriving at clinic, only one person per cat will be allowed inside the consultation room. If another person is waiting outside, we can arrange for a phone call into the room or book a separate time to discuss results or treatment options remotely.
  • When entering and exiting the clinic, you will be provided with hand sanitizer we kindly ask you to use this both times
  • Please wear a suitable face covering (mouth and nose) when entering the clinic and observe social distancing where possible. Face-shields or lose fabrics are not a suitable substitute. If you are exempt and unable to wear a mask for the duration of your stay, you are invited to leave your cat with our receptionists and we will give you a call, once your appointment starts.
  • If your cat is staying with us for more than one day/night, we will be able to arrange for a visit during less busy hours. Please continue to wear a face-covering for the duration of your visit.

Please be assured that these measures are set in place to protect our staff and clients and their loved ones and are designed to allow us stay open without major disruption through the second half of this year.

We remain committed to our exceptional level of client care and will continue to offer remote consultations and follow-ups where appropriate.

Thank you for understanding.
