I graduated from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Portugal in 2015. My love for cats was the sole reason why I joined Vet School, where my colleagues and professors quickly (and fondly) designated me as the cat lady. During my years at university I'd often foster ill or injured cats and work on socialising feral kittens.
I have always focused my career in Feline Medicine and joined Portugal's first feline-only hospital straight after graduating.
I moved to Edinburgh in 2018 and worked at other feline-only practices before joining the incredible team at The London Cat Clinic in 2020 - my absolute dream job (a higher passion than my love for Scotland) where we pride ourselves in providing the highest standard of care to our beloved feline patients!
I am currently studying towards obtaining membership status of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons (MANZCVS) in Feline Medicine, and hope to sit the exam in 2021.
I am passionate about all areas of Feline Medicine but have a particular interest in diagnostic ultrasonography and feline internal medicine. I do have a soft spot for super senior cats.
