Our dermatology service is provided by Dr. Erin Brennan MVB, MVetMed MRCVS Dr. Erin graduated from University College Dublin and spent several years in small animal practice in London before pursuing a residency in dermatology at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC).

Dr Erin brings a wealth of experience in complex dermatological cases, managing severe and chronic skin conditions for cats.

She divides her time between the RVC and private referral practice, where she focuses on complex cases including hair shaft disorders, autoimmune diseases, and infectious conditions.

At The London Cat Clinic, Dr. Brennan’s referral service offers in-depth consultations and a coordinated, comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment.

This service is ideal for patients with complex or chronic dermatological issues that require expertcare.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Bacterial and fungal skin infections
  • Allergic skin disease
  • Alopecia and hair follicle disorders
  • Autoimmune skin and claw diseases
  • Disorders of keratinisation and pigmentation

Special procedures offered:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic otitis externa and media, utilising
  • video-otoscopy procedures include myringotomy and ear canal mass biopsy.
  • Skin biopsies
  • Allergy assessment including intradermal testing: Intradermal skin testing alongside serum

ELISA testing are the gold-standard for formulation of allergen specifia immunotherapy to manage Feline Atopic Skin Syndrome.

We strive to provide a calm and thorough consultation experience, offering extended appointment times to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your cat's condition and the best treatment options. Initial consultations are 75 minutes, with follow-up appointments lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, allowing Dr. Erin to carefully assess your cat's needs.

Dr. Erin will work closely with you to develop a personalised care plan aimed at improving your cat's health and well-being.
